Supporting Children’s Physical Development
This training is focused on understanding developmental milestones within an infant and toddler’s physical development. It supports caregivers and early childhood educators understanding of the “ages and stages” within the typical developmental sequence and when those milestones don’t begin on time or don’t happen at all. This training focuses on some core physical developmental activities such as tummy time, crawling, and bilateral coordination that set the foundation for more refined developmental skills. We will also discuss and plan activities to foster these developmental skills in the early childhood and home setting.

Making Connections: Movement and Language
This training will focus on the connection between purposeful movement and language development for the growing infant, toddler, and preschooler. The focus will include the importance for a child’s development to include purposeful movement into their classroom and how to use thoughtful language to build awareness and create opportunities for expressive language development. Through discussion and interactive activities, participants will leave with some practical strategies and tools that they can implement into their
classroom to support their students’ development and share with families for a strong home school connection.

Beyond Rewards and Consequences: A Development Approach to Classroom Management (Part 1-3)
Effective classroom management goes beyond enforcing the rules- it requires understanding how students develop socially, emotionally and behaviorally. This training explores a developmental approach that shifts the adult mindset from compliance to teaching using proactive strategies that support students’ development.

Creating a Framework for Meaningful Learning (Multi-Part Series)
These sessions introduce ways to integrate structure into the classroom setting by incorporating physical structure, visual structure, and individualizing student tasks to create meaningful experiences for students. Participants will explore practical ways of implementing structured teaching into everyday practice. Additional benefits include promoting on-task behaviors and building student independence.

Introduction to Sensory Integration: Supporting Students in the Classroom for Success!
This training gives a basic understanding of sensory integration and it's impact on student's ability in regulating themselves for learning. Here we will learn about our sensory system, begin to define sensory related behaviors that are seen in the classroom, and tools on how to support your students so they can be in their just right place for learning.

Grow, Learn, Play!
This training focuses on introducing early childhood educators to introductory foundation skills of attunement to support infant and toddler development in areas of social emotional learning, movement, and cognition. Specifically, a focus on the developmental skills of joint attention, regulation, and the positive impact that movement has on a developing infant and toddler’s learning and growth. We will discuss the
foundation tools of attunement, their impact of emotional, physical, and cognitive development. Through discussion and small group work, participants will walk away with tools and activities to utilize in their classrooms and share with parents.

Executive Function in Action: Strategies and Games for Classroom Learning
Educators will learn about executive function skills and how they impact classroom functioning and learning. Educators will be able to identify underdeveloped executive function skills and then learn teaching strategies and games to support skill development and promote success.
