ABCs of Visual Supports for Young Children
This training will discuss the developmental significance of using visual supports in the classroom and home environment for young children of all abilities in developing skills and decreasing behaviors. This session will reflect on behaviors happening in the classroom and the underlying missing skills that need to be supported and taught. We will discuss the purpose of the visuals, the goals of the visuals, how to assess your tools, and how to use them so they are meaningful and impactful for the student and support developmental skill acquisition. Through discussion; small group work; and hands on activities; participants will leave with a framework to assess and implement visual supports in their classrooms and home environments to teach a multitude of developmental skills to children.

Developmental Approaches to Classroom Management
This training series will provide participants with foundational knowledge and practical application to identify individual differences within our students that give us a picture of the whole student. When the focus is on the underlying challenges, we have a deeper understanding of our students and their learning needs. As a result, we can provide targeted and tailored support built into the classroom routine through developmentally appropriate activities that enhance development, teach new skills, reduce challenging behaviors and support social emotional skill acquisition in children. Participants will leave the training with a set of structured tools to help them map out hidden challenges, link challenges to behaviors, and support the child accordingly within the classroom setting by addressing the whole child.

It All Begins With Play (Multi-Part Series)
This training series gives a basic understanding of sensory integration and it's impact on student's ability in regulating themselves for learning. Here we will learn about our sensory system, begin to define sensory related behaviors that are seen in the classroom, and tools on how to support your students so they can be in their just right place for learning.

Visuals for ALL Learners
Gain an understanding of why and how visual supports and routines can support the learning of all children within the classroom setting. Evidence-based visual practices that can immediately be implemented will be shared and practiced. Participants will consider what makes a visual effective by analyzing and reflecting on classroom examples.
